The highly efficient operation of the dispensing system takes place via a Windows-based menu interface. It offers convenient functions for setup, fast programming, e.g. in teach-in mode, and fast transfer of CAD/CAM files of any size. For fast data exchange, the machine has a USB 2.0 and 100 MBit network connection as well as a CAD/CAM interface.
The iVD-AV dispensing program was specially developed by DATRON and is precisely matched to DATRON dispensing machines. It corresponds to the machine software and is used for programming contours at a separate workstation. Thus, dispensing programs can be created externally, away from the machine, and transmitted directly to the machine via the network interface. The program has a text-based interface with an optimally staggered menu navigation. This makes programming clear and easy to learn. At the same time, a number of additional functions are available to provide active support during programming. A graphical simulation program is available for previewing the dispensing contour, which can display the contour in several display modes.
CAD/CAM software saves time
Fast transfer of your CAD/CAM data and easy-to-use machine program: This is the only way to save you time. DATRON machines offer practice-oriented machine software, CAD/CAM software that is particularly easy and fast to use, and interfaces to all common 2D and 3D CAD programs.
PrimCAM is an easy-to-learn CAD/CAM system. A user-friendly interface with graphic icons allows quick access to numerous functions. With their help, a dispensing contour can be created by drawing, even without programming knowledge. All dispensing-specific parameters, such as dispensing height, bead thickness, start, stop cycles are entered directly in PrimCam. In addition, PrimCam includes a built-in CAD part with geometry creation with dimensioning capabilities.
A graphical simulation tool is available for early correction of programming errors, which can be used to visualize data contours and traverse paths. Dispensing times can be estimated and machine times can be planned.
